More Than a Badge: Building Connections in Our Schools
At Saber Security Solutions, we believe that true security is built on a foundation of trust and relationship-building. While our team is rigorously trained in technical safety and tactical proficiency, we know that the most effective tool in our arsenal is often a simple connection.
The Power of Being Present
Recently, Officer Hernandez had the unique opportunity to step away from his standard security rounds in Manitou Springs District 14 to join a classroom for story time. Engaging with students on their level—whether it’s reading a favorite book or cheering them on in the gymnasium—is a core part of how we operate.
When our officers become familiar, friendly faces, it creates an environment where students feel safe to learn, play, and grow. This community-first approach is why the kids in our districts have come to recognize our team not just as security, but as their "heroes in the hallway".
Why Engagement Matters
Security isn't just about being a presence; it's about being a partner to the community. By investing time in the people we protect, we achieve several key goals:
Building Trust: Students and staff feel more comfortable communicating with officers they know personally.
Enhancing De-escalation: Strong relationships allow for better conflict resolution through communication rather than intervention.
Fostering a Positive Culture: We aim to be a supportive part of the daily school experience, contributing to a sense of total well-being for the students.
A Shared Mission
Whether we are sponsoring local athletes like Ethan Ainsworth at Iron Forged Martial Arts or protecting our local schools, our heart is always in Colorado Springs. We are proud to serve a community that gives so much back to us, and we remain dedicated to protecting our most valuable players—our kids.
"This is why we love what we do."
